The mission of OSM Charities is to give something back to the communities in the world in which we operate. We do this by committing to sponsor long term education support through subsidies for students; providing classroom supplies;sponsoring volunteer teachers; and community health initiatives.We also work to support special programs and local environmental conservation.
The Sapiwu Project is OSM Charities main project.It is our belief that by sponsoring children in this village as they make their way through school that we can have a long term effect on the community in which they live.
The goal of both the Elementary Student Subsidies and the University Student Subsidies is to help disadvantaged students to help themselves.
OSM Charities is committed to subsidizing each passing student through their entire educational program: i.e. Sponsorship continues through the completion of elementary school or the completion of a university program.
Much of OSM Charities efforts go into supporting our commitment to Children’s Education in poverty stricken areas of China but we also make an effort to help communities in other ways as well. We call these individual one-time programs, Special Programs and they are sponsored when we have the funds and volunteers to do so.

Are you interested in learning about China’s culture and helping those who are less fortunate than you? If so, you may be interested in volunteering for OSM Charity’s Volunteer Teacher Program.
Each semester OSM Charities, sponsors newly graduated teachers to live and teach in the Sawipu School located in Nanhua County, Yunnan. Children from the area receive their education at the Sawipu School. Your help can provide a basis for these children to continue their education through high school and possibly university or technical school.
It is our goal to sponsor two teachers each semester.
